Whitemarsh Valley Country Club
Private clubLaurel Drive, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444
Whitemarsh Valley Country Club, in Lafayette Hill just north of Philadelphia, was George C. Thomas's first 18-hole design, opened in 1908 on his family's estate. William Flynn and later Donald Ross revised the course in 1930, and Andrew Green completed a sympathetic green-complex renovation in 2015. The par-72 layout plays about 6,902 yards (slope 142) across terrain bisected by tributaries of the Wissahickon, alternating valley floors with exposed plateaus.
