A public course in the Portage Lakes area that opened in 1925 with an original 18 holes; the Thornton family added the lakeside 'Water Nine' in the 1930s, bringing the facility to 27 holes across three interchangeable nines (Long, Middle, Water). Golf Digest has given it a 4-star rating.
