Designed by Donald Ross and opened in 1916, Scioto Country Club hosted the 1926 U.S. Open, 1931 Ryder Cup, 1950 PGA Championship, and 2016 U.S. Senior Open; the par-70 course was restored by Andrew Green in 2021–22 to recover Ross's original green and bunker positions.
