Pinehurst No. 9 is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course within the Pinehurst Resort family, designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 1989 as The National Golf Club before Pinehurst acquired it in 2014. It is the only Nicklaus design in the Sandhills region, with wide, tree-lined fairways, water hazards, and undulating greens across five sets of tees up to 7,118 yards.
