Pinehurst's newest course, designed by Tom Doak and opened in April 2024 on the "Sandmines" site of a former sand-mining operation (previously home to a course called The Pit, closed in 2010). The par-70 layout plays 7,020 yards through native wiregrass and rugged, dune-like terrain, and was named Sports Illustrated's Best New Course of 2024.
