Historic 18-hole course at the Mid Pines Inn resort in Southern Pines, designed by Donald Ross and opened in 1921, with a widely praised restoration by architect Kyle Franz completed in 2013. The par-72 Sandhills layout measures just over 6,700 yards and is known for its strong closing stretch, including a 542-yard par-5 15th and a 410-yard finishing hole framed by views of the historic inn.
