Designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 2005, May River features 18 holes of 7,171 yards set in the May River Forest neighborhood within Palmetto Bluff. The championship layout features eco-friendly Paspalum turf, imported bunker sand, and a routing with the front nine turning clockwise and back nine counter-clockwise through the forest with multiple touches on the May River wetlands. Named 'Best New Course' in South Carolina in 2005.
