One of three courses at Sea Trail Golf Resort in Sunset Beach, the Maples Course was designed by Dan Maples, ASGCA, and opened in 1986. It underwent a major restoration (new TifEagle Bermuda greens, widened fairways) that closed the course from May 2025 until it reopened to the public on October 1, 2025. The 18-hole, par-72 layout plays 6,751 yards from the championship tees.
