A private 18-hole course founded in 1899 as a nine-hole layout designed by Herbert J. Tweedie, expanded to 18 holes after relocating to its current La Grange site in 1913. It hosted the U.S. Women's Open in 1974 and 1981 and underwent a major renovation in 2001.
