Private 18-hole club with roots in a social club founded in 1900; the golf course was designed by Tom Bendelow and opened in 1910 on land north of Des Moines near the former Camp Dodge site. The clubhouse was rebuilt in 1972, and a 1992 master-plan renovation by architect Bob Lohmann updated green surrounds, bunkering, and several holes.
