Private club in Charlotte's Elizabeth neighborhood, originally a 9-hole course laid out by Fred Laxton in 1910. Donald Ross expanded and remodeled the course in 1915 and 1925; Robert Trent Jones made changes in the 1960s, and Ron Prichard completed a Ross-style restoration of the greens and bunkers in 2007. The 18-hole course now plays to roughly 7,335 yards with only two par 5s and three par 3s.
