Opened in 1929 as Charleston's public municipal course on 120 acres gifted by C. Bissell Jenkins, this 18-hole par 72 course sits on James Island between the Stono River and Riverland Terrace. Recently renovated in 2020 with $3.5 million investment, it remains one of the few walkable courses in Charleston.
