Charlotte-Mecklenburg public golf course on Harrisburg Road, designed by Bill Love and opened in 1986, then extended to a full 18 holes in 1997. The links-style, par-72 layout sits at one of the city's higher elevations and includes a large driving range, a three-hole learners' course, and a full-service pro shop that is home to the Meck County Golf Academy.
