Cedar Point Golf Club is an 18-hole course on Naval Air Station Patuxent River, restricted to military/base access. The original nine opened in 1947; the current par-72 layout, redesigned by Fred Findlay, opened in 1954 and plays 6,714 yards through narrow, tree-lined Bermuda fairways with views of the Chesapeake Bay and Patuxent River. A 1998-99 renovation added new bentgrass greens, bunkers, irrigation, and a full-service clubhouse.
