The oldest private country club in North Carolina, founded in Wilmington in 1896. Its 18-hole, par-72 Donald Ross design plays 6,856 yards and was restored by Kris Spence. The club hosted the PGA Tour's Azalea Open from 1949 to 1971 and offers a pool, fitness center, dining, and racquet sports.
