The original 18-hole course at Arcadia Bluffs in Arcadia, Michigan, designed by Rick Smith and Warren Henderson on a bluff-top site above Lake Michigan that was formerly apple and cherry orchards; construction began in 1997 and the course opened in 1999. It plays to a par of 72 at up to 7,404 yards from the back tees and is regularly ranked among America's top public courses.
